I interviewed tile guru Jen Renzi earlier this month about tile trends, and she mentioned one of the big movements in tile is the ability of ceramics and porcelains to mimic different types of surfaces. As the title of this blog posts suggests, I’ll be showing some of the different faux surfaces Jen talked about, as well as products I saw a few weeks ago at the Coverings show in Chicago. Next week I’ll look at some more traditional surfaces I found at Coverings.
